Yamba is growing quickly, and the crane work has grown with it: new builds, renovations, pools and tanks, alongside the rural and riverside lifts the Clarence has always needed.
Yamba jobs are mostly coastal residential: trusses and steel for new builds, pools and spas over houses on established streets, and tight-access work where the spider crane goes down the side passage instead of over the roof. The hill streets around the headland add slope to the planning, which is machine-selection territory.
Around the river it changes. Maclean, Harwood and the island country bring rural properties, cane flats, riverside blocks and ground that gets soft after rain, which is what the all terrain machines are for. Iluka sits across the river, reached via the Harwood bridge run, and we plan those jobs accordingly rather than treating the ferry as a surprise on the day.

Yes. Iluka jobs run via the Harwood bridge rather than the ferry, so allow for that in timing, which we plan with you up front. Otherwise it is standard work for us: tanks, sheds, trusses and residential lifts.
Yes, one of the most common jobs down here. We need the weight, where the crane can stand, and the distance to where it is going. A photo of the front of the house and the backyard usually answers it, and we will tell you whether it is a Franna job or one for the 40 tonner.
It is a planning input, not a problem. The 40T and 55T are all terrain machines, we assess ground as part of the lift plan, and if conditions are genuinely unsafe we reschedule rather than bog a crane in your paddock. We will always be straight with you about that call.
The machine, the time on site and the access set the price, with travel included in a firm, free quote. A quick tank lift and a day of truss work are very different jobs, so we price each one properly rather than off a rate card.
A few days for standard lifts, longer for the bigger cranes or anything needing traffic management. We run the Lower Clarence regularly, so there is often a chance to fit your job alongside another southern run, which helps everyone’s costs. Call early and we will find the slot.
