Yes, this is one of the most common lifts we do in Lennox Head. We need to know the weight, the distance from where the crane can stand to where the load is going, and what is in between. For standard lifts, a few days’ notice usually works. For lifts needing traffic management or the bigger cranes, allow a week or two. If you are stuck, call anyway. We are ten minutes away and we move things around when we can.
Sometimes, and it should. Every crane has wind limits and we monitor conditions on exposed coastal sites, especially for large flat loads like roof panels that catch the wind. If a lift is not safe we reschedule, and we will make that call with you as early as possible rather than on the morning.
Yes, most of our work is alongside builders and trades. We coordinate timing with the site schedule, lift trusses, steel and materials as the build needs them, and our dogman and rigger crew slot into the site’s safety systems. Give your builder our number, or give us theirs.
Three things: what the load is (and roughly what it weighs), the address, and where the load has to end up. Photos of the street frontage and the destination help a lot. With that, we can usually quote the same day, and if anything is uncertain we will come and look for free.
